October 1

Can you believe it is October already? I mean wasn't it just May? Anywho.

Every year in November I join in this little thing called NaBloPoMo. Which stands for National Blog Post Month. I have done it for several years and for the last 2 years was actually able to post every day in the month. NaBloPoMo started a while back as just for the month of November, but through the years has really changed into kind of a theme a month club. I only ever participate in November.

Until today. They had a really cool theme this month and I am going to try to join in. The theme is "Haunted". Naturally the theme goes well with October and Halloween.

So here goes nothing!

Haunted can be many things. Websters defines it as this:

Main Entry: 1haunt
Pronunciation: \ˈhȯnt, ˈhänt\
Function: verb
Etymology: Middle English, from Anglo-French hanter, probably from Old Norse heimta to lead home, pull, claim, from heimr home
Date: 14th century
transitive verb

1 a : to visit often : frequent b : to continually seek the company of
2 a : to have a disquieting or harmful effect on : trouble b : to recur constantly and spontaneously to c : to reappear continually in
3 : to visit or inhabit as a ghost
intransitive verb
1 : to stay around or persist : linger
2 : to appear habitually as a ghost
— haunt·er noun
— haunt·ing·ly \ˈhȯn-tiŋ-lē, ˈhän-\ adverb

So after looking at the actual definition, I can think of a million things to write about. Or at least I hope to be able to.
