Counting

The other day the boyz and I were doing laundry. 9 loads to be exact. Last week we only did the basics so this week we had a ton to do.

The worst thing about laundry and living in the apartments is that you can't constantly have a load of clothes going. The best part is that it actually all gets done at once, once a week.

Anyhow, after we folded a million items and separated them out, Teen comes out and says that he is missing 3 shirts and 3 pairs of socks. I asked him how he knew and he proceeded to tell me that he counts all the clothes he puts in the laundry. Come to find out that we left a load of clothes in the washer.

Seriously? He counts what he puts in the laundry?

So I was relaying this story to my mum and she asks me if Teen counting reminds me of anyone. Um, no why?

Perhaps this will help: Obsession

Sadly, I have passed on my weird OCD to my kids. Sorry boyz :-0

Hey if he is counting his laundry, isn't it time that he does his own laundry? Then he can look for the socks that get lost in the dryer!

Maybe he'll be like Rain Man and be able to count cards in Vegas. He'll be rich! :)

Somehow I missed your obsession post. Wow. How do you blog with your arms tie behind your back?
