What We Learn In School

Teen is not one to share with me anything that happens in school. We routinely sit at the kitchen table and share one good thing and one bad thing that happened to us during that day. Teen always struggles to come up with something. He is good for saying his good thing is he didn't get detention that day. (btw - he never gets detention)

So when he came home from school the other day and proceeded to ask me if I wanted to know what he learned in school, I knew I was in for it.

If you are thinking he got in trouble, you would be wrong. They were finishing up the 9 week of health class and he learned how to use a c*nd*m (<-- really don't want me blog searched for that word...lol).

He showed me the pamphlet and explained very seriously the whole process. I think he was sharing to get a reaction out of, but the only thing I learned was that he actually paid attention in class.

After he was done explaining everything, he laughed and said, "I can't believe I got the whole way through that with a straight face."

He cracks me up.

So what did your child share with you about school today?

Stacy

You asked to get out of your blogging slump. Here's an answer to your prayer! ;)

Either he's a character or you guys have a great relationship. Or both! Anyway, very funny story! :)
