Wednesday Why?

Today's question will lead us into another post later.

What kind of car do you drive?

Why do you drive that particular car? Perhaps it is paid off, perhaps it fits your family size and style right now, or maybe it is your dream car.

Or maybe......

Can't wait for your answers.

a 1998 Lincoln Mark VIII, that I am sure is a really beautiful car to someone, but to me, it feels like an old lady car. Why do I drive it? Because my Santa Fe was repossessed last year and my momgave this car to me... I am grateful for it, and the fact that I have no car payment, but a 2 door old lady car is frustrating when you have kids climbing in and out of the back.

We drive a 2001 Ford Escape SUV.
It will be paid off next month.
We travel a lot so it works for us.
Our next car is going to be a Mecury Milan Hybrid.
We get additional discounts through my husbands employer with all the car makers, so we are able to justify the additional cost, and with the price of gas here on the west coast a hybrid is a good thing, a very good thing!

I drive a 2002 Ford Focus~ we bought it as a family car, since it's 4-door & seats 5, & there's the added benefit that it's sporty (for a sedan) & emerald green, my fav color :-D
I will be paid off in a couple months & I'm loathed to give it up~ I'll drive it until it croaks or I can afford to buy a newer one (in the same color, naturally ;-p)

I drive a 2006 dark blue Altima and I love love love it. I tried to drive an SUV- first a Tahoe and then an Equinox- but I am just a car girl. The Altima is awesome- enough room for 5 to ride comfortably. Love it!

I drive a 1996 Oldsmobile Cutlass with 180,000 miles on it. It is a 4 door, no frills kind of car. Gets me from point A to point B. I have NEVER in my life had a car payment.

If I won the lottery, I would LOVE to have a 2009 Jeep Liberty in Deep Water Pearl Blue. :)
