Does anyone watch the show on ABC titled "What Would You Do"? That show just sucks me in and really makes me think about how I would handle some of the situations that they bring to the viewers.
If you aren't familiar with the show, click on the link above. But basically they take real situations from the news and play them out in public with cameras to see the reactions of everyday people.
For example, they took the story about a homeless person that had passed out on the street. By the time someone helped him, it was too late. So they put an actor in the street and had him fall down and act unconscious. It took a long time for someone to help him. And at that it was a disabled person that stood asking others for help for him. Sadly, her pleas were also ignored for quite sometime. They then replaced the homeless looking guy with a (i think) woman and people were more willing to help her.
So what does this have to do with anything?
When I was leaving for lunch on Thursday at work, as I was walking across the parking lot, I saw an older woman sitting in the drivers seat of the car with her head back. Was she sleeping, passed out or worse? Should I approach the car or mind my own business?
So, what would you do? I will tell you what I did later.

I would (hopefully) peek min to see if she was breathing... and then (sadly) move on and forget about it.
I was riding my bike to work last year and there was a guy laying on the side of road, up on the curb but really close to the road. I went past, and then turned around to check him out, I nugged him and asked if he was okay. He said, "thanks dear, I am just resting"
I would check to see if she was okay. I don't know if you know this story, but when I was driving across America, I stopped in a rest stop in Cheyenne, WY I think and stopped to get something to eat, and was talking to my girlfriend on the phone. I passed out cold, from the exhaustion. What if no one stopped to help me? I am grateful they did. I have seen that show and I am shocked that people just pass by and do nothing a lot of the time, but that is human nature.
