Slacker

I have been a real slacker around here lately. I am still feeling pretty overwhelmed at work, especially the hours that I work. I love that I get 3 day weekends, but the late hours are getting to be a little much for me.

Anyhow, I had these stains on my counter in the kitchen that I just could not get out. I was talking about it at work one day and someone told me to try Magic Eraser. This has to be one of the best creations in a while. The stains are gone like magic (no pun intended).

Little S got soap crayons for Christmas. Not too long ago I let him do this to my bathroom walls:
Hubby was not home when Little S was playing so we left the pictures up until daddy got home. Well I am sure you can guess what happened when I tried to get the pictures off of the walls after it had dried. Yep, it stained. Thankfully the bathroom shower is a little dim and hubby's eye sight isn't the greatest without his glasses on so he didn't notice it. But I was scared. We live in an apartment and I did not want to have to pay to have the walls replaced. I tried everything to get it off: Scrubbing Bubbles, Tilex, Soft Soap, even Clorox. And the stains just would not leave.
I went to the store and bought the Magic Eraser and it worked so well. I didn't even have to use elbow grease. And believe me I was using a lot of elbow grease with all of those other products.
So if you have some odd stains around the house that you have all but given up on, I recommend one last try with the Magic Eraser.
I can't believe I haven't tried this before now.
What is one product that you use that you weren't sure of at first but now can't live without?

Glad it worked! I've got some stains on the wall from dog toys. I wonder if it will help? Thanks for the tip!

WHAT??? Those little soap crayons stained your wall! OMG! Uhh..I will not be giving those to my foster kids NOR will I ever give those to any child ever again! The last thing I need is for my brother or friends to tell me..THANKS ALOT MY KIDS RUINNED THE WALLS WITH YOUR GIFT! Oops! LOL!

I love magic erasers! LOVE THEM! We can not use cleaning products for soap scum on our tile because it's natural slate. So I use these with just water and it takes it right off. Plus it's envriomentally friendly!
